Al Ain Oasis

In the heart of Al Ain, this impressive oasis is filled with palm plantations and cool, shady walkways. Employing a 3,000-year-old falaj irrigation system, the oasis spans 1,200 hectares with more than 147,000 date palms of up to 100 different varieties.

The oasis is designated as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) by the FAO, praised for active conservation efforts.
